Mottingham has one of the longest recorded histories in the Eltham area, first mentioned back in AD 862. Red Point Cleaning Service is a family-run window cleaning company with 15 years of experience, cleaning windows for homes and businesses across Mottingham. We clean the glass, frames and sills every time, and every clean is guaranteed.
Window Cleaning Across Mottingham
Mottingham straddles three boroughs, Bromley, Greenwich and Lewisham, and most of it sits in the SE9 postcode. Wherever the borough boundary falls, we cover the whole area: the old village along Mottingham Road and Mottingham Lane, the streets around the station, the Mottingham Estate and the Coldharbour Estate.
Once you join our round, we clean your windows on a regular schedule and text you the evening before every visit, so there is nothing to remember and no need to book each time.
From Village Cottages to 1930s Estate Homes
Mottingham was a farming hamlet until the mid-19th century, and its homes tell the story of how it grew:
- Victorian cottages along Mottingham Road, near the parade of shops known as the Terrace
- Late Victorian houses on the West Park estate, built in the 1880s between the station and the village
- 1930s houses on the Mottingham Estate, a London County Council estate of around 2,000 homes that opened in 1935
- Post-war homes on the Coldharbour Estate, built from 1946
- Extended family semis and flats, found right across the area
We adapt our approach to every window type, from uPVC to wooden frames, and our water-fed poles reach upper floors safely from the ground. The frames and sills are always included.
Shops and Local Businesses
From the Terrace on Mottingham Road to the shopping parades built for the estate, Mottingham’s local shops are part of daily life. Our commercial window cleaning keeps shopfronts and business premises clean on a regular schedule, from a single unit upwards.
Our Services in Mottingham
Most customers start with our regular residential window cleaning. With the woodland and lake of The Tarn nearby, gutter cleaning is a useful extra that we can do on the same visit. We also offer conservatory roof cleaning, soffit, fascia and cladding washing, jet washing and house cleaning.
Pure Water Window Cleaning
We clean with Reach and Wash water-fed poles and purified water carried in our vans. The brush scrubs your glass, frames and sills, and the pure water rinses the dirt away and dries without streaks. There are no ladders, no detergents and no cloths that have been used on other houses.
