Honor Oak takes its name from the oak on One Tree Hill where, legend has it, Elizabeth I picnicked in 1602. Today it is a leafy, hilly corner of South East London with some beautiful period homes. Red Point Cleaning Service is a family-run window cleaning company with 15 years of experience, cleaning windows for homes and businesses across Honor Oak. We clean the glass, frames and sills every time, and every clean is guaranteed.
Covering Honor Oak and Honor Oak Park
Honor Oak sits between Forest Hill, Brockley and East Dulwich, mostly in Lewisham with part in Southwark, across the SE23 and SE22 postcodes. We cover the whole area, from the parade around Honor Oak Park station to Honor Oak Road, Honor Oak Rise, Brockley Rise and the streets around Blythe Hill Fields.
Once you join our round, we clean your windows on a regular schedule and text you the evening before each visit.
Period Homes on the Edge of the Woods
Honor Oak was once part of the Great North Wood, and much of it was developed after Honor Oak Park station opened in 1888. Its homes include:
- Bay-fronted Victorian and Edwardian terraces, many with generous gardens and original features
- Large 19th-century villas on Honor Oak Road, set on long plots among mature trees
- Grade II listed Victorian houses on Honor Oak Rise, in a small conservation area beside the One Tree Hill woodland
- Semi-detached and interwar family houses
- Converted flats and garden flats, including apartments in handsome Victorian buildings
Period homes deserve a careful clean. We treat every window type differently, from original wooden frames and sash windows to modern replacements, and we never use harsh detergents on your glass, frames or sills.
Clean Windows, Close to the Trees
Living next to One Tree Hill and Blythe Hill Fields is a real pleasure, but the trees do bring leaves and debris. They collect on frames and sills and in gutters, and without regular cleaning they can lead to mould and mildew. Our regular rounds keep on top of it, and gutter cleaning is a useful extra that we can do on the same visit.

Most customers start with our regular residential window cleaning. For the independent shops, cafés and restaurants near Honor Oak Park station, our commercial window cleaning keeps shopfronts inviting. We also offer conservatory roof cleaning, soffit, fascia and cladding washing, jet washing and house cleaning.
Reach and Wash From the Ground
On Honor Oak’s hilly streets, we clean every window from the ground with Reach and Wash water-fed poles. Purified water from our vans is pumped up the pole, the brush scrubs your glass, frames and sills, and the windows dry naturally without streaks. No ladders on steep front paths and no one at your upstairs windows.
